About this Poll
Filtering: 2,800 New York state adults were interviewed 01/09/08 through 01/10/08. Of them, 2,477 were registered to vote. Of them, 471 were identified by SurveyUSA as likely to vote in the Republican Primary. The New York Primary is "closed," which means that, unlike Iowa and New Hampshire where Independents could be included, only registered Republicans may vote. Interviews were conducted before the South Carolina Republican candidate debate, which began at 9 pm ET on 01/10/08. Giuliani was Mayor of New York City from 1994 to 2001.
