About this Poll

A survey of 600 voters who identified themselves as Democrats and 600 voters who identified themselves as Republicans conducted for the Washington DC-based Southern Political Report shows Hillary Clinton leading all potential challengers in Tennessee and former Tennessee US Senator Fred Thompson a strong home state favorite in any potential presidential bid.

The telephone survey was conducted March 31 thru April 2nd. Both the Democratic and Republican surveys were weighted for age, race, and gender. Both polls have a margin of error of +/-3%.
