Mason-Dixon Polling & Research Inc. of Washington, which conducted the poll for the Post-Dispatch and KMOV-TV. The new poll was conducted Wednesday and Thursday, with 625 registered Missouri voters interviewed statewide by phone. All stated they were likely to vote in the November general election. The poll has a margin for error of plus or minus 4 percentage points.
