The latest Rasmussen Reports poll in Montana finds Tester with 48% of the vote while Burns earns 46%. When "leaners" are included, Tester leads 49% to 46%

Conrad Burns (R) 46%
Undecided 4%

About this Poll The telephone survey of 500 Likely Voters was conducted by Rasmussen Reports October 18, 2006. The margin of sampling error for the survey is +/- 4.5 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence.
