About this PollThis survey of 1,123 New York State registered voters was conducted August 7th through August 18th, 2006. Registered voters were interviewed by telephone in proportion to the voter registration in each county in New York State and adjusted for turnout in statewide elections. Results are statistically significant at ±3%. There are 499 registered Democrats including 230 who are likely to vote on primary day. Results for these sub-samples are statistically significant at ±4.5% and ±6.5%, respectively. There are 329 registered Republicans, and the results for this sub-sample are statistically significant at ±5.5% The error margin increases for cross-tabulations.
