Poll Demographics

Democrat Bob Casey Jr., the state treasurer, led Santorum, 49 percent to 39 percent, among the 666 likely voters polled. Three percent of respondents favored Green Party candidate Carl Romanelli, and 8 percent said they were undecided.

About this Poll

The Temple University and The Inquirer poll's results are based on telephone interviews with 666 registered voters statewide who said they were likely or certain to go to the polls Nov. 7. Interviews were conducted for seven days, ending Wednesday. The margin of error for sample as a whole is plus or minus 3.8 percentage points.
