The following results are based on 572 completed telephone interviews among a statewide random sample of registered voters in New Hampshire. Of the 572 interviews, 166 were among Republicans, 171 among Democrats, and 235 among undeclared voters. The interviews were conducted September 25 through 29, 2009.

The theoretical margin of error for the sample of 572 registered voters is plus or minus 4.1 percentage points, 95% of the time, on questions where opinion is evenly split.
