The following results are based on 800 completed telephone interviews among a statewide random sample of registered voters in New Hampshire likely to vote in the November 2, 2010 general election. The interviews were conducted September 22 through 26, 2010.

The theoretical margin of error for the sample of 800 likely voters is plus or minus 3.5 percentage points, 95% of the time, on questions where opinion is evenly split.

Question wording and response:

If the election for US Senate were being held today between Kelly Ayotte, the Republican, Ken Blevens, the Libertarian, Chris Booth, an independent, and Paul Hodes, the Democrat, for whom would you vote - Ayotte, Blevens, Booth, or Hodes? (names rotated)
