Update as of 10/15/2012 prediction based on public and private polls, state political trends, and most of all my gut feel. This map goes against the current commentary out in the media, however, only a couple weeks ago people were saying Romney was dead, now those same folks are saying he is going to steamroll Obama. Its just not going to happen. Obama was plannng on a close election and I still think structurally, the race is still Obama's to lose. Finally every election features a view "unexpected results" I still think Obama will do well in North Carolina and Florida. Despite the polls he may very well underperform in Ohio, but I am going to give him that state and Virginia for now, but its really close
