S.J.R. 102 Repeal section of constitution relating to salaries and fees of the officers of the executive department
Repeal a section of the constitution that specifies exact compensation for constitutional executive officers in amounts ranging from $1,000 to $3,000 per year; directs setting of daily allowance for expenses paid to the lieutenant governor; prohibits executive officers from receiving fees for their own use in performance of official duties; provides that fees fixed by law for performance of official duties be collected in advance and deposited with the State Treasurer; and provides that the Idaho Legislature may, by law, increase or diminish compensation and reimbursement for travel expenses of executive officers.
