The fact that he was involved with the embassy storming in 1979 is frankly irrelevant to this issue. As host nation to the UN we have an obligation to allow the chosen Iranian delegate.

Murder is indefensible.

This is very defensible.

No one is being killed because of this policy. No one is being physically harmed in any way because of it.

The only thing being hurt is the feelings of people who hate America.

False. Out legitimacy as the host of the UN is being hurt by it.

At least this guy didn't get his country convicted of being a terrorist state by the World Court like Roberts Gates did. His being appointed as Defense Secretary, and being kept on by a President who ran on the slogan "change" was just ridiculous.

International law only really applies to lesser nations.
