FPÖ gains only 1% in Vienna, based on 25% counted.

NEOS at 8% in Vienna, 16% Greens.

SPÖ ahead with 32%, ÖVP ca. 15%, BZÖ 2%, Stronach 3.5%

Final result will be something like:

27% SPÖ (-2)
24% ÖVP (-2)
21% FPÖ (+3)
12% Greens (+2)
  6% TS (+6)
  5% NEOS (+5)
 
3.5% BZÖ (-7), 1.5% Others are below the 4% threshold.

Turnout will be ca. 74-76% with absentees (minus 3-5%).

NEOS seemed to have some appeal to (former) ÖVP voters, if we take the Vorarlberg and first Vienna results into account. How is this possible? I thought both parties addressed completely different socio-economic groups.

NEOS is virtually the 21st century ÖVP.

NEOS has many former members of the ÖVP, like their leader Strolz, their Vienna leader, their Salzburg leader etc.

By being socially liberal and market neo-liberal, they attract many ÖVP-leaning young voters and small-business owners.

Also, the Vienna MaHü chaos has driven many Green voters to NEOS.

But the Vorarlberg result, where NEOS-leader Strolz is from, is stunning.

There was a poll from Vorarlberg not long ago, showing NEOS at 1% and they got 15%.
