70s Carter > Obama > present-day Carter.

70s Carter > Obama > present-day Carter.

This probably sums up about where I'm at. On mobile, so I'll leave it at that.

Obama didn't cause the economy to get as bad as Carter did , and Carter also lost Iran leading to radical Islamic movement all around the Middle East  which continues to this day . Lastly he allowed the Soviets to gain unchecked .

You give presidents way to much credit/blame for things that happen during their tenure.

Obama is significantly less bad than Carter. But, it's a comparison of one bad president to another bad president.

Both are HPs.

Obama. I REALLY hate Obamacare and the rest of his domestic policy agenda, but aside of a few mistakes, I feel like I've generally been able to trust his foreign policy.

I say Carter.  At least he didn't think he was a total big shot.  Which reminds me of a joke...."what's the difference between Obama and God?" "God doesn't think he's Obama".  Wink
