It was heart-warming to see the other drivers and pit crews walking and supporting Bubba Wallace after this horrific and racist act.

PS: It is my understanding that this took place in an area that was off-limits to the general public. So it seems it may have been done by someone internally (another driver, member of a pit crew, track employee, etc).

One black dude gets killed by a cop and now BLM is no longer a terrorist organization? That's what conservatives were calling it in 2016, and rightfully so. Now, they get on their knees and pray for mercy.

Black Lives Matter is not and has never been a terrorist organization.

I obviously can't speak for black people, but I suspect that black people despise crime just as  much as do white people like me. Black people seem to have no problem with the cops busting the largely-white meth subculture.

OK. Law and order (meaning in the strictest sense that overt criminality gets repressed) is essential to the defense of civil liberties of us all. We all expect that anyone who pulls a gun on a cop will die, especially because cops now have bullet-proof vests and can usually fire back after the thug fires ineffectively into a protected chest cavity or can take aim for the cop's head or throat. Pulling a gun on a cop is effectively "suicide by cop". Yes, that is brutal, but we all excuse that.

We have bad cops, and the police culture protects bad cops as the education profession does not protect those teachers who do misconduct. Blacks are more likely to be killed by police in inexcusable circumstances. Blacks are right to call attention to this.

But it wasn't a hoax? The FBI concluded that the noose was in the garage for months. They made no mention of a hoax, or that it was done by "Nigerians", which was really the part that bothered me.
