John Smith; without him, Virginia would have died, and we'd likely not the US today.

Have you at any point considered voting for persons whose lives were unrelated to America?

I doubt he knows who half of these people are.

Boo-boo: Suleiman the Magnificent reigned from 1520-1566.

I have to go with the Sun King. He made France the major player on the European scene. It wouldn't relinquish that until the Franco-Prussian War.

Note:

The United States is NOT equal to the World.

Open up your views a little bit, there is a world beyond your beloved United States, you know.

Like I said, without him, there would likely be no United States.

Galileo, for challenging the scientific/religious establishment by proving the geocentric theory wrong.
