Mitt Romney mounts a late entry write in campaign and wins the election.
America, and the world, are thereby saved from World War III which would have been caused by Donald Trump and from bankruptcy which would have been caused by Hillary Clinton's spending policies.
Romney goes on to win a landslide reelection in 2020, and goes down in history as one of the most beloved and truly great Presidents, and his likeness is added to Mount Rushmore.
