I usually agree with Ivison but not this time. I don't think the sort of folks he mentions need any prompting from Wynne on Harper hatred.

I know Salutin's a True Leftist, but he's either unhinged, senile or both here. Calls Horwath a right-wing populist like Harris, Thatcher or Ford. Saw something similar in Rabble earlier this week.

That's not Grit hackery but True Leftism. (Which I posted yesterday Tongue) I can think of an example where political reporters were literally on the governing party's payroll, but not in Ontario.

Pink slips and running shoes: Hudak promises to downsize the civil service by 10%, or 100000 jobs.

From Tim Murphy's Twitter feed. Nice to see that Team Dithers hasn't changed their love of self-parody in the past 8 years. "Hudak Helper" is their new anti-Horwath slogan.

New Ipsos poll: 37/31/28 EV, 42/28/27 among the likeliest voters. Some MOE movement in 905, NDP gobbling up Grit votes in SW, Tories expand their E lead. Very similar to the last poll. LV numbers translate to Tory majority and perhaps NDP Opposition. Hudak also leads PPM at 34% to Horwath's 29% and Wynne's 28%.

Will fix. But Ipsos is one of the best. Tongue Wonder when Nanos or Angus-Reid will take a look.

Ontario had Orange Crush and Crush Orange already. Wink I'd be quite happy if the NDP was Opposition.

New Grit anti-NDP attack ad: Horwath voted against the budget. I must admit seeing Grits run to Dippers' left is rather amusing.

Also: Hudak promising a 30% corporate tax reduction, down to 8.5%.

Just so we're clear, no matter how hard Whynne tries, the Liberals will not be magically to the left of the NDP.

The Liberals want to be the left-wing and right-wing alternatives to the NDP at the same time.

Liberalism in a nutshell. Tongue

I don't see any airborne pigs outside my window, yet Grit hack Regg Cohn backhandedly gives Hudak credit on something.

Wynne: We made mistakes in past, I'll correct them, didn't always agree with Dad. Better than her own Mad as Hell tour.

Itineraries.

Hudak: stabilize energy rates.

Horwath: $100 million for childcare.

According to OLP hack Regg-Cohn, a hypothetical Hudak majority and the associated 100k pink slips & running shoes would be Horwath's fault. If federal politics are any indication they'll still be whining about it in 10 years.

Why shouldn't progressives switch from Grit to Dipper? Ipsos numbers are close enough that the Dippers could move into 2nd.

BECAUSE TIM HUDAK IS MIKE HARRIS OH NOES

Actually cutting deeper & much faster than Harris. Many planks and personnel similar to CSR.

Itineraries.

Hudak: 10% personal income tax cut once back in black.

You guys think there's been a shift over the past few days? Or just Forum being itself. Hard to tell because the polls are such a clusterf[inks], unlike here in QC where they all moved together.

Hudak unveiled more policies today. Scrap planned raises for teachers and early childhood educators, end post-secondary tuition breaks and the seniors' home renovation tax credit. No loosening of liquor laws.

More poll divergence: Ipsos has 39/30/24 EV and 43/31/22 LV. Some interesting regional stuff like Tories dominating Central and 905, 3-way race in SW and Tories rising in 416.
