Chelsea Football Club has sacked Roberto Di Matteo. After the disaster known as AVB, Di Matteo took charge leading the team to FA Cup and UEFA Champions League titles in the same season.

LOL Chelsea

The replacement is even more hilarious. Rafa Benitez? Are you kidding me Chelsea?

First I heard Rafa and laughed. Then heard it may be Pep and thought, "Maybe this isn't so crazy after all." Then it was confirmed that it's Rafa so...yeah. Ha.

I enjoy watching the drama of the English game from afar.

Rafa's a better manager than Di Matteo or AVB.

Another day, another embarrassment for Lazio from their ultras. No team's losses do I enjoy more when they come.

Lazio should be banned from all future European competitions.

What did they do now? I watched a bit of their match with Spurs yesterday but didn't notice anything or read anything today.

The Jewish chants are one thing but fining/banning over the banner would be too far. Not to say that I necessarily agree with the message but I don't think the message is worthy of punishment.

The chants are child's play compared to the unprovoked violence:

Indeed. And Lazio essentially encourage this sort of sh!te. Therefore...

I didn't read of violence until now. Apologies to Al if violent accounts were mentioned in the links he posted. I ended up searching on my own yesterday.

Anyway, yeah, this is hardly surprising coming from openly fascist fans.

Looks like the attackers were actually Roma fans.

Actually, yeah, the early articles I was reading through Tottenham websites implied otherwise but the one I (admittedly quick glance) grabbed here clearly does state they were Romanistas, which brings me great disappointment and embarrassment. There's no excuse for that amongst our ranks and I hope that the fans that are there at home stand strong in ethics, rationale, and morality on all of our behalf. The city as a whole doesn't deserve this kind of bad publicity, as wonderful as it is.

Turns out some of the Spurs fans that were injured are Philadelphia area students. I still don't get why Roma fans would have attacked Tottenham supporters. So strange.

Anyway, Juve suffered their second defeat of the season, once again to a Milan club. They're stuck at 32 points. If Inter wins tomorrow, they go to the top of the table based on a tiebreaker advantage against Juve. If Napoli wins tomorrow, we'll be at 30 points.  Smiley

Wenger needs to be sacked. What a pathetic disaster this season is.

Turin Derby today. If Juventus loses, all we have to do is beat Pescara and we're at the top! Cheesy

Spurs quite on form today with the clean sheet that moves them up into CL Qualifying zone of 4th place. Another good show by Jermain Defoe, rising from the ashes this season.

Well, we're finally off the CL ranks as of tuesday... and we then go on to lose 4-0 to Düsseldorf. The traditional Eintracht Fall Low is here!
