Two based on that definition. Also two part-time work study jobs, but FICA taxes aren't taken out of those.

Then 9 with 11 total. Bouncer and roofer were cash.
6 total post college, 2 of which were short consult stints.  Also 36 years old.

Piecing together from the rent cost post and this that your parents must do well.  No problem in that.  That said, I do think there is good value and character building in throwing in a day's work but you are still young ans likely finishing school.

Tbh, if I hit the lottery I would certainly not be doing the 9-5 gig but would still do work.

Three that I can think of (according to your definition). I might be forgetting one or two that I only did for a very short time though.

I will start my 7th job on Monday, and I am 31. Two of those jobs were HS jobs, and I held 2 jobs at the same time before I moved out of Connecticut.

The answer is a mix of 'too many' and 'not enough' while being the opposite of 'just right'.

Does having two very different jobs at the same company count as one or two jobs?

USAF (computer maint) after realizing I didn't want to do construction
Def Contractor after realizing I didn't want to be enlisted anymore

Hoo boy

Busboy
Farm hand
Pizza guy (Bellisimo's)
Pizza guy (Pizza Express)
Sales associate at American Eagle
Pizza guy (Pat's Pizza)
Host at Bahama Breeze
Valet (Waterfront Parking)
Intern (Senator Frank Lautenberg)
Rutgers building manager
Rutgers peer mentor
Valet (One Way Valet)
Valet (Platinum Parking)
Office assistant (Rutgers)
Canvasser (PennPIRG)
U.S. Navy (Machinist Mate)

Note that until the Navy I was a full time student, so if I didn't like something or tired of it I would just quit, (usually unceremoniously) since it didn't really matter to me.  Not the best attitude according to most Americans, but I'm not gonna torture myself with crap like Bahama Breeze (which I literally just walked out of with a metaphorical "blow me") when I was unfairly put on to the midnight shift during a major party my frat was having.

In the case I didn't mention it, I actually live with my parents in a suburban house. They would have a hard time paying for a separate flat for me (especially in or around Paris). Still yeah, I'm aware of the fact I'm clearly more fortunate than most people.

I was actually thinking about giving private lessons to high schoolers one of these days. I agree that I need to earn my own money at this point, even if only a symbolic amount.

You're what, 22-23? Might as well make enough for beer money.
