Shaneen Allen-PA resident, registered gun owner, pulled over in NJ, admitted to cop she had a gun (because she was ignorant of the laws in NJ), gets arrested and is now facing a mandatory 42 months in jail

Ray Ray got off light, no jail, "first time" offender classes.  Single mom Shaneen Allen, in the same court, with the same judge and same DA isn't going to get off so easy.  They want to make example of her.

As much as I dislike guns and wish people didn't have them, just owning one doesn't necessarily equate to being a monster. Ms. Allen is just another example of how blacks, especially black women, are disproportionately more likely to face jail time (and severe sentences at that) for having an illegal gun.

Ray Rice is scum of the Earth who has deserved everything he's gotten in the past week, who also deserves a lengthy jail sentence.
