Thank you Archduke, this resolution was in response to the events that occurred in October. I believe that the Midwest should pass a resolution like this so that any invasions or violations of our sovereignty will be met by a Government who has already stood up against it and will go to lengths to rectify the situation.

I'm offering this redraft before the Althing. Per the Midwest Redraft Constitutional Amendment, the sponsor (Rep. GAworth) can accept the redraft and it can be passed with a simple majority vote, or reject it.

I do support the resolution, but I was very cautious after I saw the line: "Whereas, no other region or other form of Government other than the Federal Government of Atlasia has jurisdiction in the lands of the Most Serene Republic of the Midwest."

The way that's phrased, the resolution basically eradicates any jurisdiction the Midwest government has, and I can't sign that unless this redraft is passed.

Before the introduction of new legislation the Althing should act on this redraft.

Thoughts on the Governor's proposal?

I am supportive. It clears up any possible foolishness from mis-interpretation.

My answer would be yes as well, but I will say I'm uneasy in putting my vote forward until the results of the election are certified.  As anyone heard from our Governor regarding the official results?

He certified them on the 22nd I believe. You, myself, and Bacon were elected as Representatives. Gass was elected Archduke. Congrats by the way to all of you on winning.

Now that we are all sworn in:

I open a 72-hours final vote. Please vote Aye, Nay or Abstain.

Once we have finished voting on this resolution, I will then introduce two new bills for debate and votes. Hopefully this will give some time for our newer members to introduce legislation.
