During a rally in Warren, Michigan he attacked Bernie Sanders on his anti free trade rhetoric, declaring that it will undermine America's competitiveness in the world economy, hurt the auto industry and could cause more bankruptcies in Detroit.

August 3 :

-Kurdish combatants backed by the U.S. captured Mohammad Haydar Zammar, a Syrian-born German national and al-Qaeda operative who helped recruit some of the September 11 al-Qaeda hijackers who carried out 9/11 attacks in New York and Washington.

In an effort to win among voters who selected foreign policy and terrorism as the most important issue of this election. President Rubio's campaign broadcasts an ad echoing Ronald Reagan's 1984 ad titled There is a Bear in the Woods that was, at the time, promoting a strong national security against the Soviet Union symbolized by a bear. This ad is also similar to George W. Bush's 2004 T.V. ad titled Wolves that called for stronger national security against Al Qaida and international terrorism that were represented by wolves in this ad. It also reminds Rubio's 2016 T.V. ad that featured a cougar representing ISIS and calling for strong action against terror. President Rubio's ad features alligator, comparing this predator to ISIS and international radical Islamic terrorism. This ad attacks Bernie Sanders on his weak foreign policy and national security agenda that promotes cuts in the military and in security measures, which would encourage terrorists to commit more attacks against the United States and their allies. This commercial's main goal is to call on the American people to stay vigilant against the threat posed to the United States by radical Islamic terrorism (especially ISIS, Al Qaida, the Hezbollah, etc.) and to keep national defense strong to eradicate this threat.

We ratified free trade deals with Europe, Latin America and India, which America the most competitive nation in the world economy thanks to lower tariffs, increased exports and lower costs for trade activity, allowing American businesses to make direct investments into foreign economies to produce goods at a lower cost in these environments and making America number one in auto production again.



As a result, 12 million new jobs are created, our unemployment rate went from 5.6 % to 2.6 %, the lowest rate in 50 years, wages are increased and the national debt is reduced almost in half. We restored America's status as the land of opportunity thanks to a strong and prosperous economy. Let's move forward by pursuing all this progress in order to get to full-employment and to make ure our children and grand-children will be the mot prosperou generations of Americans that ever lived. I love this timeline (despite it just being a wild fantasy), but a major point of free trade is that we have manufacturing happening internationally, so bringing it back is protectionist if anything . Unless I misinterpreted and you mean that Rubio’s policies spurred growth in new high tech manufacturing domestically, and greaterfree trade allowed American workers to specialise in that and outsource low-skill manufacturing (bringing manufacturing back from the dead rather than back from abroad) But cutting manufacturing taxes alone is pretty distortative (government arbitrarily favouring one sector rather than letting the free market work).

Honestly this presidency seems like a fairly good successor of Obama-Bush consensus policies in the best ways.

It keeps those jobs in America by making America the best country in the world for manufacturing business owners and workers to do business. And like I said, these policies actually benefits to all business sectors because one of the main reasons why America was losing jobs because of free trade is that America had the highest corporate tax rate in the industrialized world, which was 40 %. So by reducing it to 15 %, President Rubio made America the most competitive nation and made free trade more favorable to job creation in America by making it the best place in the world to do business, by lowering tariffs and by increasing international consumers' access to American products thanks to lower costs, thus favoring free market.

On March 2016, he called Merrick Garland "a strong nominee with decades of experience" for the Supreme Court before declaring, one month later, that he would fight to withdraw Garland's nomination at the Supreme Court if elected.


In 1998, Sanders supported the Iraqi Liberation Act of 1998 to restore democracy in Iraq and defeat terrorism there before shifting his position by voting against the Iraq War in 2002.


Senator Sanders opposed NATO expansion, arguing that it's a waste of taxpayer dollars and that it would result to provocation of tensions between NATO and Russia. And yet, on March 2017, he supported Montenegro's ascension as NATO member.

While claiming to be pro-Israel and while co-sponsoring a 2008 Senate Resolution reaffirming Israel's right to defend itself against terror, he has said, 9 years later, during an interview with The Intercept that he would « consider cutting U.S. military aid to Israel ».


In 2007, Bernie Sanders voted to release Guanatanamo Bay terrorists and allow them to be on the run once again and to conduct attacks against us. But after that, in May 2009, he changed his stance and was among the 90 senators who voted against shutting down Guantanamo before going back to his original position by opposing a 2013 bill to prohibit the use of funds for the transfer or release of Guantanamo terrorists.


Bernie Sanders, just another flip-flopping politician ready to change positions only to win votes, but wrong on both sides of the aisle.

-French President Emmanuel Macron call for the creation of a 10-nation defence coalition with European countries, including France, the United Kingdom, Belgium, the Netherlands, Denmark, Italy, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Estonia in order to combat radical Islamic terrorism in Mali. He called on the United Nations to help fund the Europe-wide defense coalition and its cross-border operations.


-Macron meets President Rubio at the White House during a visit in Washington D.C. where the U.S. president confirms America's support to France's efforts to create the planned European defense coalition to combat terrorism in Mali and in the rest of Western Africa, declaring that it is in America's interests to fight terrorism and to restore international security for the ake of the defense of freedom, democracy, justice and peace. August 18 :

-The Commission on Presidential Debates officially announces the dates and locations of the 2020 presidential debates between President Marco Rubio and his Democratic opponent Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders. Hi, I'm a Moderate Democrat personally, but I would just like to say thank you UWS. This TL I believe is an optimist view of a Rubio Presidency, but it is good none the less. I would like to say that not everyone on the left is a pariah who thinks anyone farther to the right is a Fascist. Much like how not everyone farther to the left then you or I is a communist.


We need to focus on accepting each other's views even though some people may think this TL is a bit crazy. I think Rubio would be a good President (better then Trump for sure ) however I think that some of those midterm gains were a little optimistic. Anyhow, it is still a great TL so don't give my fellow Gander UWS a hard time about it.


To those who don't like this TL, don't read it if you don't like it. I think we should just let Mr.UWS do what he thinks would happen, and if we don't agree you can make your own timeline for a Rubio Presidency. Maybe in your timeline Rubio loses to Hillary or Bernie in the General Election. 1. I am not Solid4096.
2. I rate CT-GOV Lean D due to the weak GOP field.
3. Professional predictions are not relevant to my ratings.
4. This timeline is unrealistic. Rubio is an unpopular and controversial Senator who would not have a 70% approval rating.
5. Hispanics vote Democratic 70-30. Rubio being Hispanic would not instantly flip the vote.
6. Republicans would not pickup 11 seats in a Republican president's midterm. 9 out of 10 times, the POTUS'S party loses Senate seats. Realistically, they would maybe manage a 2-3 seat pickup in their best case.
7. You think Feinstein could be unseated by Condi Rice.
8. Liberal governors would not endorse a far-right Republican.
9. The stock market would likely crash in 2019/20, severly hurting President Rubio's chances.
10. Rubio would not perform so well in the debates. You basically have Bernie not even responding to Rubio's claims, when obviously he would.

Basically, you consider Rubio to be a FDR/Washington level president, even though he would not be a good president. This timeline is actually creepy in its insanity.

He loves all the American people from the bottom to the top and from the middle to the sideline. And he is a great president for all Americans.

This timeline is actually quite realistic and is admired by the overwhelming majority of the members of this Atlas. Rubio is clearly a better leader than Trump and has more experience than him and that's why his leadership made America's future bright through a strong economy and strong national security and a strong national defense. And the reason why he's winning among Hispanics is because he is himself an Hispanic and because he reformed America's broken immigration system, which granted U.S. citizenship for immigrants across the country. The moreover that free enterprise is the only economic system that helped Hispanics to prosper. Meanwhile, Bernie Sanders wants to dismantle this system by increasing the size of government.That's why President Rubio wins Hispanics. So have some respect.
