Dropkick Murphys - "We Got the Power"

about the 1919 Boston police strike

Nice, I just finished listening to Do or Die.  The first and only album with the original lead singer, Mike McColgan. It is still my favorite of the all Dropkicks.

McColgan has a band called Street Dogs that I saw in concert a few years back.  They had a few really good songs.

In a belated tip of the cap to Autistic Pride Day, I'm listening to: Scorn not his Simplicity

The Residents - Amber(The Commercial Album 1980)
Alberto Caminerini - Scioka (1978)
The Residents - Its a Man's Man's Man's World

By the way, the first song, though only 1 minute long, has the most charming video about smug vicars I have ever seen.

Life is just a situation
Life is just a game
Life is just a whirlpool
And it's calling out my name

Amber were the autumn leaves
And amber was her skin
Amber was the evening
When the whirlpool pulled her in

It was irresistible
Was what she used to say
Like the sound of running horses
Early in the day

2 Player Game by Infusion

I think it's pretty clear Australia leads the world in electro indiepop. This is more good stuff, out of Melbourne.
