In my mind, for some reason, I've always confused Colin and Supersoulty.  So I hope you can imagine how confusing that battle was for me.

Oddly, I'm exactly the same with Jas and Yates.  That goes back to when they both had I-IA avatars and became active on the forum around the same time.

Now I know how a father of multiple twins must feel.

Dang.  I'd hoped Lewis would have some cards to turn in.

Well at least I do.

That gives me 10 extra battalions as reinforcements.

Place all 13 in Kentucky, attacking so long as I have a 3:2 advantage along the path KY > OH > MI > WI, leaving 1 in KY and OH, and wait for orders in how many to advance into WI.

Not a great plan, but the only one I see that has a chance of keeping Soulty from winning this round if he has a card set to turn in.  Still might not keep the game going to the next round, depending on how this set of battles turn out and what Colin is able to do.

He needs two more capitals still. I think I would have gambled on depriving him of the pacific. But it's a tough situation either way.

Don't be.

I'd done that because I felt I might not be on much during the second half of the week, which has proved dead wrong anyways.

Yeah.  If I knew that Soulty didn't have a card set to turn in, I might have done that, but if he does, then I'd have needed some awful lucky roles to keep him from winning as he'd have been in an excellent position to take Colin's two capitals with a 10 battalion reinforcement placed in Ohio, and retaking Hawaii wouldn't be a significant challenge for his normal reinforcements unless I had much better than average rolls.
