Well I'm sorry if I don't intimately know nicknames for prisons in Louisiana. The only Angola that I knew of before this is the country in southern Africa. I still don't get what "your in Switzerland you wouldn't know" factors into this.

It's not a "nickname". http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Louisiana_State_Penitentiary

And it's one of the dozen or so US prisons I could name off the top of my head if you woke me up in the dead middle of night.

I wasn't aware of any movie - Sugar Land is frequently referenced on 20s and 30s blues and folk records. Most famously in Midnight Special
