Most likely, but that's how it's done, It's usually (but not always) that way with cloture as well.

     In real life. In Atlasia everyone just votes aye on cloture unless someone wanted to introduce some sort of amendment. I remember there was a cloture motion very soon after I first came to the Senate that failed for precisely that reason. I did threaten a filibuster on a bill once, but that threat never came to pass, so cloture is kind of just a formality here.

Guess you're right, but that had still been my impression.

Depends on the circumstances, of course, whether cloture is just being proposed to get the bill passed more quickly or because it's the only way to get it through.

Filibustering here would be pretty annoying, since a vote happens automatically if a bill isn't debated for 24 hours. I guess it's technically possible though.
