Analysis
Clinton vs. Trump: This is a "what if" scenario. I do not believe that Trump will win the Republican nomination, but it's possible. Trump gets pounded in the general election. Significant numbers of Republican politicians refuse to endorse. Retired Republican politicians with no plans for running for public office again come out of the woodwork to actually endorse Clinton. Public is bombarded with television ads juxtaposing scenes of angry, red-faced Trump with reminders that the President of the United States has the power to destroy modern civilization within minutes. A knowledgeable, polished Clinton eviscerates Trump in all three debates. Trump is backed into a corner and instinctively lashes out with personal attacks, making him look desperate and childish and leading to the complete collapse of his campaign. Aftermath of the campaign leads to the marginalization of the "Tea Party/Freedom Caucus" and the rebirth of the Republican Party. Member Comments User's Predictions
