That's downright cruel. It would be like Obama making fun of McCain for not being able to raise his arms above his head, Biden making fun of Palin for looking like a flight attendent, McCain making funs of Obama for having large ears, or Palin making fun of Biden's hairplugs. It's just annoying and low.

This race is sickening. Corzine has been a terrible governor. He is making personal attacks on his opponents. And yet, he might actually win this race. As much as I like Christie, I almost want Corzine to win. New Jersey doesn't deserve Chris Christie. With polls showing that this race is actually close, I'm starting to think New Jersey needs four more years of ridiculous leadership just to wisen up.

Statewide:  (18.3% reporting)
Corzine: 41.3%
Christie: 52.3%
Daggett: 5.5%

Daggett is doing extremely poor. I was expecting him to get close to double-digits.

Stateweide Results: (64.3%)
Corzine: 43.8%
Christie: 50.0%
Daggett: 5.3%

It's time to make a projection. I am projecting that Chris Christie will be the next Governor of New Jersey! Cheesy

Honestly, though, I'd like for Christie's numbers to go slightly down, as I had him below 50% and I want a perfect prediction on here. Tongue I can't believe that I actually underestimated Republicans this election.

Politico called it for Corzine.  FOX still hasn't, but I think it's over.
Don't you mean Christe? Wink
I'm actually pleasently suprised at the gap in this race. I though it would be a 2-3 point win for Christie.

Sucks to be a Democrat tonight...

Congrats to Chris Christie!
Republicans experienced a lot more pain a year ago. This is just part of our "getting back them" operation. Tongue

Thought it would be more approiate to post this on here...
I ran the New Jersey gubernatorial race of PresidentForever. The only difference was Daggett wasn't a candidate, but some guy named Jeff Brunner was, who got a similar amount to Daggett did.
Basically, the results are similar to RL, PV wise. However, I did much better than Christie actually did in big cities, and not as well in some Republican bastions. Will post some notable county results below...

Stateweide Results:
Christie: 50.6% 1.6 million votes
Corzine: 45.5% 1.4 million votes
Brunner: 3.9% .1 million votes

Essex - Corzine, 49-47
Somerset - Christie, 53-44
Cumberland - Chrisite, 48,47
Trenton City - Corzine, 54-41
Paterson City - Corzine, 48-39-12
Bergen - Christie, 52-43
Newark City - 65-31
Ocean - Christie, 54-42
Mercer - Christie, 52-44

I won the "electoral vote" 592-255, also.
