This should be considered non-controversial, no?

Places selling canine meat? I would think the taboo alone in doing that would ward off anyone actually doing it.

It isn't necessarily served as dog meat.

As for being taboo, it isn't taboo in many cultutes, especially Chinese and Vietnamese. We do have many immigrants.

I object on the basis that it conflicts with the first sentence in the same clause, and would ask Senator bgwah to consider keeping the fine for the first violation and prohibition of that owner continuing to operate any restaurants for any following violations.

The owner could open a new restaurant and the fine per violation would really only be applicable twice under my amendment.

What if a restaurant sells dog meat without the owners knowledge?

That never worked as an excuse for underage alcohol sales. I think employers have to be held responsible, otherwise we will have cases of employees getting shuffled around and thrown under the bus with no real consequences.

Would that ban wolf-hunting? It wasn't my intention to regulate hunting with this bill.

I don't think so.
