I believe the way to reduce crime is to create well paying jobs and tougher punishment - the opposite of a Democrat.

Tougher punishment has been in force for 30+ years; hasn't worked. Turns out, most people commit crimes understanding the risks involved and do it anyway. Deterrence is a joke, especially for capital punishment-related offenses. Abortion and the internet have had bigger influences on falling crime rates than your politicians' posturings come campaign time on the issue of crime.

"Virtue signalling" is a term invented by the Right, to attempt to discredit anybody calling them out on their bigoted, "disgusting" nonsense because they think the person they're accusing is more like them than any group that person chooses to defend. The only problem with this is that your ideology has attacked and defamed so many cross-sections of society that the vast majority of those people choose to stand together regardless of their differences (which, again, are based on your own shallow observations regarding race, religion, gender, etc).

And no, you don't care about murders. You care about using "urban crime" as a prop and excuse to enforce your already-blatant ideological worldview of how the majority in this country should be subjugated to your cultural and socioeconomic whims. If you cared about these individuals finding jobs and having opportunity, you'd be making it easier for them to vote, not harder. But you do know better what's good for them, don't you?

America's crime rate is the lowest it's been in 50 years but is steadily rising as Democrats give criminals more and more power.

Except that the vast, vast majority of crime is handled by state and local authorities (not federal), and jurisdictions that did not implement "muh tough on crime" crap have seen just as large drops in the crime rate as those that have. There is no statistical evidence to suggest your tough on crime nonsense works. If anything, it causes actual "crime" to skyrocket as more and more activities are policed and/or made illegal.

Crime rates began to plummet as soon as those born right around Roe v. Wade started becoming adults and the internet became prolific. Thankfully, you're raging on here instead of burying women in your basement somewhere!

I couldn't honestly care less if you're offended. I was born 30 years ago in a single-wide running on well water, grew up in one of the most blue-collar areas of the country and to this day at best can be described as working class. I'll speak about my own people however the hell I want and without fear of being lectured morally by others - including anybody else who might come from the same circumstances.

However, the social commentary there wasn't two-dimensional. I was throwing a (much more graphic and exaggerated) stereotype back in the dude's face to illustrate that his assumptive stereotype (that I may or may not be black, that I must live in ATL because I'm a Democrat, that "ATL is 'disgusting'" etc) was fucking ridiculous and offensive in and of itself. I don't believe in proportional response - especially for shitheads who like to speak in social code and dogwhistles.
