2012 Senate endorsements

Yeah, it's a ways off, and we won't have the official Atlas version for a while, but I'm bored.

What do you think your 2012 Senate endorsement map will end up looking like?

Pink means I'd prefer third party, but it's a state where they almost certainly won't make the ballot, so D if I have to pick.

Don't know who the Democratic candidates will be in a lot of the races, but they generally get my default endorsement if they don't piss me off.

We'll certainly have third party candidates on the June ballot here in California, but we have the Washington system now, and so the November ballot would most probably be just the major two parties.

Hence the pink coloring for California. The endorsements Dave runs here are always for the general election, not the primary.

But she did represent Western San Fran and Marion county as a congresswoman.  

Her district was mostly the north bay, where she lived. Now she doesn't live in the SF bay area any more. Even though her politics are a closer fit for SF than our other Senator, she was definitely not the mayor of San Francisco.

Quite the hackish endorsement map. The candidates in Michigan are horrible, I simply couldn't vote for either of them. Indiana too, I was disappointed with Lugar being primaried, Donnelly and Mourdock are very 'meh'. I quite like Tim Kaine and Bob Casey, so I could 'cross the aisle' and lend my vote to them, the Utah Dem' vote is just me being a hipster.
