We all need to learn that system that allows phonetic typing.  I'll do my best to explain, though, with a couple of different faux-phonetic combinations that are all meant to be pronounced the same.

St. Pete, and parents are from states far to the north of Florida (not too far north though, mostly upper South (TN, KY, NC, WV, VA, etc).
