Extremely pessimistic, though.

I'm kind of surprised that Rubio didn't focus more on common ground, or try talking to Moderates and Democrats. He hardly even mentioned Immigration (in fact, besides saying his parents were, I'm not even sure if he did).

And it was inconsistent. Saying government is the problem. Then admitting he just paid off his  federal student loans this year, his mother is on Medicare, Medicare gave his father some dignity in his last years, etc. So which is, Marco? How are Obama's proposals so much more radical than Medicare?

Obama mentioned Oklahoma!!!  I didn't think he knew the state existed!!!!

To be fair, that state is still caught up in the Bush Administration.

Which one? With Oklahoma, that's a fair question.

That would seem like a waste of money. It's already run down beyond repair.

"Deserves a vote" was the big one liner of the speech. Much of Obama can attribute his success is running against a tea bagged congress, that got rolled in the fiscal cliff.

I didn't catch the whole sentence or thought, but I think he was praising Oklahoma's educational system.  TBH, that kinda shocked me.  I didn't think Oklahoma's education was worthy to be given a shout out at the biggest speech of the year, but I was pleasantly surprised.

He visited Oklahoma during the 2012 campaign, during the summer iirc.

So he probably found out it existed like a week earlier.
