They talked about doing a national poll a few weeks ago.  Last week Thursday (Jun. 20), they tweeted this:

They did a Montana poll in the interim, but never released a national poll.  It's now the end of the week, so the earliest they're going to release another poll would be Monday, 11 days after they sent out that tweet.  Did they just forget to release the poll, or what?

I mean, Cory Booker at 3rd means it probably isn't worth looking at anyway.  Maybe they threw it out~

I would assume they did a GOP primary poll at the same time.  Why poll just one party?  And if you're going to poll just one party, why pick the one where you know the frontrunner is ahead by 50 points?

I guess the possibilities are that they just have been lazy and haven't released it yet, that it was an internal poll for a separate politician/organization, or that they threw out the results because they didn't find them realistic.  If it's the third, the blue avatars who claim they have poor practices would have a point.

*bump*

Still no release on this.  Though they tweeted that they'll release their new Texas poll tomorrow.  But they're still not releasing a national poll that's now about two weeks old?

Anyone who's on Twitter care to tweet them to ask what's going on?

I don't think it was an internal poll for a private client, no.  I'm pretty sure they solicited questions on that national poll.  I think either they forgot to release it or something went awry with the poll, and they don't believe the results.

I've already twittered them a few days ago.

Like usual, PPP does not reply to me ...

I also posted a comment on one of their blog posts from last week, asking them about this.  And now it looks like someone else did so again this week:

http://www.publicpolicypolling.com/main/2013/07/davis-popular-but-gubernatorial-bid-a-long-shot.html#comments

Those comments are moderated, so *someone* at PPP has to be reading them.  But they're ignoring the question, for some reason.

Guess who it was ... Wink

I know I'm obstinate, but otherwise we'll likely never get the results.

But yeah, it seems they are ignoring it ... Sad

The fact that they're now polling Bush and Christie in their statewide general election matchups:

https://uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?topic=175522.0

https://uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?topic=175754.0

suggests that they were the top two finishers in this phantom GOP primary poll, though we don't know which was first and which was second (or if it was a tie).

The only thing I can think of is that their crosstabs demonstrably proved they didn't have a representative sample at all; like maybe their polls said 90% of likely Democratic primary voters were white, or that 30% of Republicans were liberal or something

Quinnipiac will indemnify us today for PPP's failure to release their 2016 national poll:

They did this again in August (conducted a national 2016 poll and then never released it), and it looks like they may have done it yet again with their Florida poll:

Where are the 2016 numbers in that Florida poll?  They released the rest of it last week, but never released the 2016 numbers.
