Bushie how many heart attacks have you had?

Officially none.  What I think may have been heart attacks, two.

As long as you avoid the hospital, it isn't official!  A great strategy for eliminating heart attacks.  Smiley

Wow an entire potluck full of free food and Bushie couldn't manage to put a single vegetable on his plate.

Of course not. Smiley

Oh goody - I was right about the rotelle.  Why are you smiling at the fact that you ate no vegetables?  Do you enjoy your health problems?

I don't enjoy it, but I don't let stress be added to them.

I'm being serious... the fact that you have a vote in any organization's business meeting is absolutely astounding to me.  Part of it is probably because your church doesn't know who the real Bushie is.  You're way more open with the forum than you are with everyone else.  To everyone else, you probably just appear to be a morbidly obese man who continues to kill himself with food (and maybe not even the latter part if people don't know how truly messed up your diet is).  But given your history, do you really think it's wise that you should have a say in the business and financial matters of a church?  Jeff, you can't pay a single one of your own bills... not a penny, and not because of some financial disaster or unforeseen hardship, but because you are irresponsible.  Yes, God forgives and being in church is ultimately good for you, but given your history, how do you think you can bring anything beneficial to the table (and that's a best case scenario... the worst case is that you're bringing your bad ideas to the table).

This is so silly I don't know where to begin.  I have been at this church for 27 years since I was 4 years old.  I think they know the real Jeff.  I've only been on the forum for 9 years including the BushAlva and KerryAlva accounts that I lost the password to many years ago.  They know what I eat on a daily basis and many of them eat similar.  Maybe not exactly what I eat, but they do eat similar.  As far as the irresponsibility goes.  How is going to school irresponsible?  That just doesn't compute.  You even have to agree that CADD is far from irresponsible.  It gets me out of the call center and will ultimately provide me with a good job.  Yes, I have been irresponsible in the past, but I am not now.  I'm doing the best I can with what I have at this point in time.  Since I have been there for 27 years, I have been there the longest out of anybody at the meetings.  One couple has been there for 22 years and the rest less than 20 years.  They value my input, because I have been there for the vast majority of the church's entire history.  I read the last month's minutes and record the new minutes at every business meeting and provide a voice.  Now, I mostly let the others talk it out and discuss what they want to do and if they ask my opinion, I give it to them, but that's from lack of knowledge on a particular subject not from any issue I'm dealing with in my personal life. Mostly, I either make the motion, second, or just give my approval.  Here in the past six months, we all have been unanimous in our decision making, so there's never a problem.  The fact is, we all deal with issues in our personal life that if we take your advice, nobody would be able to vote.  That's why we have accountability groups within the old congregation and new accountability groups within the new congregation.

As an aside, I am down to 258.4 as of this morning, the lowest I've been in quite a while.  It's not much, but if I can just keep from these bad days, I'll be headed south.

Not living past age 40. Smiley

Vegetables - particularly the kind they serve in the USA - are hugely overrated, guys.  His problem is overeating, not lack of vegetables.

bushie is not going to eat liver.  period.

Too bad - its the best source of vitamins and minerals (far superior to any vegetable).

Bull. Inks.

We criticize you for being flatlined at 260 and suddenly you drop to 258 after a 4 day binge of sitting on your butt watching football and potlucking?

Jeff, you said, "The fact is, we all deal with issues in our personal life that if we take your advice, nobody would be able to vote."  If that's true, then it's no wonder your church had to merge with another one.  If all of your church's voting members have the financial knowledge and theories that you do, it's no wonder it didn't survive.  I'm not saying that anybody with problems shouldn't vote; I'm saying that your problems are so severe (and in the realm of finance) that it's a bad idea.

Yeah, but it'll catch up to him eventually if he is fudging the numbers.  Either he knows he has to stop at some point (and he'll plateau at 255 or 250), or he'll post more pictures and we'll all notice that he looks the same or heavier, and he'll admit his lies.

Yeah, I honestly can't imagine he actually lost more weight after admitting recently that he has splurged diet wise. He doesn't look like someone who's lost 20 pounds in his photos either - I don't care about the camera adding weight.

But to me it doesn't matter. He will always be obese. I just wish he would admit he's lying about it, tell us he's happy to be fat, and we can move past this "diet" sham.

Inks, before I was real active on the forum I actually happened to be a life insurance agent.  I had a license and everything.  It taught me a lot about finances.  I don't hold a job now, but everyone knows I am pursuing my education to get a job.  The validity of that can never be disputed.  With my certificate, I will be looked at very strongly by Chesapeake Energy, Devon Energy, and the like.  I heard from a third party that Chesapeake hires more from Metro Tech than from colleges and universities.  I know what I'm doing.  When I said we all deal with issues, everyone not just my church does.  Our church did not fail. It served its purpose in God's kingdom.

On the weight issue, I am indeed 258.4. I am not fudging numbers here.  I sat on my butt all weekend, but I did not over indulge.  I didn't eat the right things, but I didn't stuff myself.  When tmth was here in July even he commented to the forum that I looked like I had lost weight.  That's first hand.  Read early Season IX for reference.

Bushie how many heart attacks have you had?

Officially none.  What I think may have been heart attacks, two.

Can we just stop to appreciate the fact that someone in his early 30s thinks he's had two heart attacks and says that nonchalantly.

Yeah, but considering his past medical scares, I think he overthinks stuff.  Granted, his heart's not great, but I doubt he had two heart attacks.

I agree. I was more just commenting on the way he was so matter of fact about it, "yeah I'm 33 and I think I've had two heart attacks already w.e"

A lot of the stuff that we nonchalantly accept about Bushie's life would definitely be horrifying if we were just learning this for the first time and we had never met him before.

Minor heart attacks are pretty normal for the barely, just barely morbidly obese.

Seriously, I doubt Bushie has had heart attacks.  Probably just panic attacks from his problematic existence.  Unfortunately, he doesn't believe in mental healthcare so he won't seek help for those either.

About 15 months from September 2005-December 2006 for Primerica.  I sold a couple policies, but they were 3 hour drives away.  One policy flew back in my face because it was canceled and I had to pay for it.  It was a form of a MLM, and I couldn't get recruits.
