This bill authorizes a removal of speed limits on rural interstates and other four lane divided highways in order to allow you drive as fast as you want. However, the DoDI can place lower speed limits if necessary. It also makes it easier to pass other vehicles and turn right on red lights. In addition, it protects your civil liberties by forbidding the use of red light cameras as well as allowing you to possess decorative items in your car. This bill also authorizes that traffic patterns may be altered to aid evacuations.

I am in support of the majority of the bill, including the ban on red light cameras. However, I am not a fan of doing away with the speed limit maximum entirely on our region's Interstate highways or other 4 or more line divided highways in rural areas.
