I am concerned about the consequences this might have for people using drones for non-malicious uses, without intention to act with motivations similar to Homer Simpson against Ned Flanders. What's so inherently terrible about flying a drone over public lands anyway?

Not just a regular drone ... this prohibits microdrones. They are incredibly small and have great potential to spy, trespass, carry explosives, and other horrors. In Black Mirror the microdrones swarmed like bees and killed people.

I oppose the act as it currently stands. This act infringes on individual rights and will suppress economic development far too much.

I support provision 3, as well as provision 5 as long as medical research is exempted from this rule.

What right is being infringed?

Just people's ability to control if they want to eat human flesh (if this can be done legally, at least, which confuses me as to why it's on here) or the free market's ability to research and develop human cloning technology that may end up benefiting everyone, both in economics and in health and quality of life.

It may not be libertarian to say, but cannibalism should definitely be illegal. Ditto for human animal hybrids.

I can get behind making cannibalism illegal because I do not see how anyone could even acquire human flesh for consumption legally, but if there was some way I'm not sure how, and what implications this act may have in terms of creating additional laws to prevent it. That's where my issue is.

Human cloning I see as too promising and useful to outright ban though. My fear is that banning this sort of research would put the south behind in terms of technological and medical innovation. If we're regulating scientific development so heavily, why will corporations on the cutting edge of innovation want to stay here and deal with all sorts of bureaucracy and red tape regarding their operations?

I am fine with banning human clones, as it is. Too much moral minefields.

This is a good bill, I motion for a final vote and ask Delegates to vote affirmatively.

This act doesn't prohibit acts of bestiality in order to secure the release of a victim of kidnapping. Clearly it does not go far enough
