Yes. She's the only Democratic candidate underwater in favorables amongst DEMOCRATS. There's nothing she can do to win.

Yes, her 2016 endorsement, Sanders is in race

Maybe the old free stuff guy could have just stayed out and endorsed her instead.

Why would he endorse a candidate popular with Republicans?

Bernie himself is popular with many Republicans?

His supporters on this site are not mostly blue avatars.

Sure, but trust me, we like him better than any neo-lib.

Paul Ryan was one of the most neoliberal politicians the country has ever seen. Certainly the most neoliberal House Speaker ever.

No he wasn't, tf?

He was pretty conservative but clearly the definition of conservative is changing because of Trump.

Well, now that Sanders is in, I don't really know what kind of support she has any appeal to left.
Sanders will drop out in summer (because of poor health) to endorse Gabbard.

Do you have anything to suggest he's in poor health? I'm about 50 years younger and in worse shape than he is.

No. Sanders is not entitled to the progressive vote any more than Hillary was entitled to the Democratic Party vote.

I don't think Sanders is "entitled to the progressive vote" (I can see some logic to the the Warren campaign), but the Gabbard candidacy is useless.

She needs to drop out--and so should others (and there are many) who have no chance at the nomination.  Next year is going to be very tough against Trump.  No need to waste valuable resources and time on taking the eyes away from the prize.

Yes.

Gabbard, Castro, Yang, Delaney need to drop out immediately. Like before the Debates instead of wasting slots.

Ideally Sanders, Biden, Beto, Harris, Warren, Booker, Klobuchar, Gillibrand should be the 8 people debating. There is no use having 2 debates with people selected being randomly. This nonsense needs to stop & having this many candidates devalue the process.

If a candidate can't get even 1-2% in polls & can't do any small $ fundraising they have no business running.

Gabbard will get more votes than Booker, Klobuchar or Gillibrand and the nonexistent campaign of O’Rourke, mark my words.

Gillibrand is struggling to crack 1% as well. Why does she get an exception?

It’s freaking February, can we at least wait a few months out before the primaries to decide this stuff?  Tears of joy

Also, searching google trends, Tulsi gets more hits than Kirsten Gillibrand.

He was pretty conservative but clearly the definition of conservative is changing because of Trump.

He was all about free trade, austerity and "entitlement reform". And the latter two aren't pushed by even centrist Democrats.

If they can't get 1% in polls and can't do small $ fundraising, then they won't be invited to the debate, so there's no problem.  E.g., Buttigieg is getting 0% in every poll, and if that doesn't change, then he'll be left out.

Hopefully only 8 people make the cut & stay on so that this f***ery of 2 debates is not done.

After Iowa & NH, 3-4 people will anyways drop out !

No. She should keep going, ruin her elective career, and then become a Fox News contributor.

Personally I don't see how her campaign continues. Her campaign hasn't rolled out well, to put it mildly, and with Sanders now in the race, there's no feasible support base for her.

That said, one can hardly say that Hillary was not entitled to votes in 2016, and then argue that Bernie is to the progressive vote in 2020.

Leaning towards yes. Her foreign policy views are admirable, but Sanders is better in every other respect and there doesn't seem to be much of a market for her positions in a Democratic primary
