Woah, I didn't expect her to be running.  I guess we may actually see the craziness of 15 or more candidates again.

Gabbard will be the most interesting candidate in the primary, not only due to her history of homophobic comments and her questionable relationships with Modi and Assad, but also because she appeals to some Bernie voters and some Trump voters. I honestly have no clue how her campaign will end, though I'm  leaning towards her being the Democrat's version Rand Paul.

Another interesting point is that she might be in a cult.

Because she's not a member of an Abrahamic religion?

No.

Because she belongs to a bizarre offshoot of said non-Abrahamic religion that didn't exist until the 1960s, is about as tied to the mainstream religion as the Nation of Islam is to mainstream Islam or Unification Church is to Christianity, and is frequently reported on and criticized by counter-cult activists.

Gaudiya Vaishnavism was founded around 500 years ago.

LOL at the RNC attacking someone for resigning from the DNC.

Chris Butler is a cult leader, and it doesn't take a genius to see his beliefs influenced her socially conservative views. It will be amazing to see the brogressive left praise Tulsi while tearing down Beto, Kamala, Warren, and anyone who didn't endorse the Supreme Leader (and I don't mean Assad).

We never heard much about Hillary's involvement with The Fellowship. I guess Chrsitian cults are OK.

Really liking her campaign logo!

I guess she has a chance if she can shake off her old views on social issues and give a good answer to her Assad problems.

Honestly, she should run with the Assad thing instead of trying to apologize for it. She could credibly make the case that working with Assad to defeat ISIS is along the same lines as working with Stalin to defeat Hitler in WW2.

I'd rather we not be in Syria at all, but we created the mess and if we must stay involved we should take the side of the lesser evil, not the greater evil.

Easy way to spin the Assad meeting considering Trump met Kim Jong un who did far worse. And Pelosi met with Assad a few years back as well.

Would have supported her if she announced before Delaney. If she is still there and Delaney is not by the time of the TX primary, I would consider voting for her.

Why do these candidates announce that they will announce later? So annoying

You get two news stories for the price of one. Good for publicity, I imagine. But yeah, annoying.

She would actually be a pretty refreshing candidate...if her views on basically everything weren't such garbage.
