No, actually looking at his campaign and what he's done in the past rather than letting my opinions be decided by Atlas posters (Bernie Supporters and Haters alike) has improved my opinion of Sanders considerably, enough to the point where he's one of the three candidates I'm currently bouncing between.

Considering you were a Republican as recently as what 8 months ago, that's kind of remarkable.

I guess you could say I've made a rapid transition Wink

Sanders supporters have made me like him less. They're the main reason I switched from Sanders to Hillary after Super Tuesday in 2016 (also the fact that he was going nowhere).

For me, this is true the opposite way. Atlas Kamala supporters have pushed me from ambivalent between the two of them (and maybe even somewhat pro-Harris) to being very close to switching from Brown to Bernie.

Absolutely. The stupid posts from people like jfern, iBizBee and GoTfan make me not want to support Sanders and ashamed I do now. But then I read posts from people like James Monroe, Invisible Obama, RFKFan68 and especially of course Landslide Lyndon, and I get SO hyped up about backing Sanders. I'm not kidding when I say literally no person on the Internet has made me more supportive of him than Lyndon.
You care too much about what other people say. The fact that Bernie supporters are so diverse can only be a good thing.

My opinion of Sanders has also gone up considerably and he's probably my third or fourth choice but I still think the Berniebro movement is one of the most cancerous things in American politics right now.

I hate "Bernie Bros" (see my thoughts on jfern) but Bernie is NOTHING like them.

This is quite true. Berniebros think poor whites can vote Democrat whereas Bernie himself doesn’t believe in the existence of poor white people.

Wait, so is Sanders someone who doesn’t care about the marginalization of racial minorities and only about white people, or does he think all white people are entitled and rich? I’m confused.

The only things that make me like Sanders are what he says and the policies he supports. I don't really let anything else sway my opinion on him. The same goes for most of the other candidates.

Is it really that serious that I don't like him? I personally find his demeanor unpalatable and many of his views on race frustrating even if I agree with some of his policies. If he wins the nomination I will support and vote for him.

No, even though he's sometimes a little bit rude, Landslide Lyndon is fine and often right. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate Bernard, I just don't think he should be president or the nominee for a variety of reasons.

No, because I'm not like you or Calthrina and I don't base my political beliefs on what I think will annoy a stranger on an obscure internet forum

If you said basically this in every thread then I think everyone would say that's a reasonable opinion even if they don't agree with it, but your typical post makes it sound like Bernie Sanders is a misogynist who almost singlehandedly cost Hillary the election and goes around burning a cross on people's lawns

I'm in the same boat. He lost me around the time of the New York primary when he got a taste for a surprise victory after Michigan and his supporters began going scorched earth with conspiracy theories and their persecution complexes. That was well before New Jersey's June primary though.
