I have a question for the SoFA. When am I allowed to make my next move (across states)?

Any chance of a return to the Midwest? Smiley

It was requested a while ago that I eventually consider moving back to the Midwest Region, and I shall comply, particularly since another person recently hinted that I ought to return. However, my decision is obviously not set in stone, and I might change my mind. I was simply interested in knowing when I could make my next move.

I think I can guarantee a very positive response should you decide to return. Smiley

I agree entirely with TCash. I have not been happy with the leadership for a while, and it appears that I'm certainly not alone it this regard. It seems, unfortunately, that the ILP has become sinking ship and I shall now depart.

May I ask, where's the list of parties?

A list is available here on the Atlas Fantasy Wiki which can be accessed via the  button under the Atlas Forum heading above.

The wiki also contains many details on this fantasy nation 'Atlasia' and is probably the best source for learning about 'the game'.

To register you need to state your name; state of choice and party in this thread.

If you've any questions, just post them here or PM me or any of the other active Atlasians who I'm sure will be glad to help.

Sorry to see a newbie with an interest in the system leave.
Though given that the Mideast is probably suffering most at a regional level, things may be better off that way.

In terms of goofyness you've certainly moved to a less goofy region, though I'd suggest the Southeast as a better move if you really want to leave goofyness behind (or at least the Midwestern type of goofyness that I presume irks you).

Is there somewhere I can get up-to-date with all the precedures and what has been going on? I've been out of the game for awhile.

Depends what exactly you're looking for.
The wiki (accessable from the  button above) is probably the best place to find details on the parties, regions, current office holders, constitution, statutes, etc.

If you've any specific questions, I'm sure someone will be able to help out fairly quickly.

According to the Registered Voter Roll, maintained by the SoFA, you are registered as an Independent in New York. It's a fairly reliable source.

Welcome to the Midwest Region! Grin
You can learn more about the region on the wiki here.
From there you can get information on our political structure; constitution and laws.

Best of luck!

How exactly does this Altasia government work?

Please see this thread for a basic outline of what Atlasia is about.

As I understand it, his registration will be deemed valid upon his reaching 25 posts, so there should be no need for re-registration.

I recommend that the Attorney General open an investigation into whether there has been a breach of section 1 of the Consolidated Criminal Justice Act.

Because the Intro to Atlasia is never updated, the following parties are inactive/dead/dissolved

National Republican Movement

The Socialist Liberal Alliance

Life & Liberty Party

Atlas Forum Republican Party

Christian Democratic Party

The party descriptions were changeable by the parties at any time.
At any rate, President Phil is under a legal obligation to start a new such thread.

I'm registering!  Somebody told me I had to, and that  "this is the place."

Welcome to the game Torie. Smiley

If it's of any use, a broad introduction to Atlasia is here. It should help explain the basics and give guidance as to where further info is available. (Of course, feel free to ask questions!)

Once again, welcome and best of luck!

Thank you for the warm welcome Jas. I appreciate it.

No problem Smiley

I currently am trying to do my homework by reading up on Atlasia, including finding out who the voters are in my region. I feel a bit like Rip Van Winkle.  Smiley

The Secretary of Forum Affairs (cabinet position which has primary responsibility for regulating federal elections) maintains the voter list and updates it regularly. It should help you locate who the Pacifican voters are.
