I will not run my own list and have never anywhere expressed interest in that.

After some consideration, I'm going to move up the primary date slightly so as to coincide with the weekend; the NLC primary will run from 12:00 am March 28 to 11:59 p.m. March 30 (EDT). Candidates for the primary are, in alphabetical order:

Fmr. Pres. Colin Wixted
Sen. Hashemite
Fmr. Lt. Gov. Rockefeller Republican
Fmr. Lt. Gov. South Park Conservative

The primary will determine the five NLC candidates for the STV election as well as the NLC's recommended ordering of candidates.

It will itself be conducted by STV, with the first candidate elected sitting at the top of the list, the second candidate elected second on the list, etc. As we have only six candidates for five slots, it is guaranteed that some choices will be made on the same count; in that case, the candidate with the most votes in that count shall be considered higher than the other(s) elected on that count.

You might also want to list Jake, as he is currently declared as an NLC candidate for election with the DoFA.

With over the quota, both Afleitch and Colin Wixted are declared selected. Their remaining 2.8333 votes each are redistributed proportionally.

1.7 of Colin Wixted's transfer votes pass to Bacon King, and 0.5667 each to Rockefeller Republican and Jake (with a 3-1-1 split, Bacon King-Rockefeller Republican-Jake).

Using d'Hondt proportionality, Afleitch's transfer votes all pass to Bacon King (with Bacon King holding preference after all of Afleitch's votes once Colin Wixted is elected).

[Note on the use of partial votes: As very few votes are being cast in these elections, rounding would case far too much skewing of the numbers. For example, d'Hondt would give all of Colin Wixted's transfer votes to Bacon King even though Rocky and Jake were preferenced higher by a full 20% each of Colin Wixted voters. In this situation, rounding would not change the result except that Rocky would be selected on the fourth ballot instead of the third.]


Now, to determine whether Afleitch or Colin Wixted will head the ballot, we will hold a three-day run-off starting at this moment.
