Judy Chu (Dem)   15,338   31.90%
Rafael F. Nadal (Dem)   177   0.37%

Roger Federer could learn a thing or two from Judy Chu.

That southerners were completely intolerant to non-Protestants and non-whites prior to the civil war.
On this subject.  The greatest baseball game ever played.  link

He should have been President for the last 8 years.  I think the country would have gone a great leap ahead and avoided a lot of problems if he had complete free rein over the country.  I know he had more power than most veeps but I think Bush held him back.  don't get me wrong Bush was a great man.  But at times his spending got out of hand and he was a bit to much of a bleeding heart.  Cheney is TOUGH TOUGH TOUGH.  One thing this country does NOT need is a president who is a pussy.  Like Carter was and like Obama seems to be now.

Still, to be totally fair I can't see Cheney beating even a loser like Obama.  He will be so demonized and characatured by the liberal dominated press he would never get a fair shake. Better to start fresh

A real gem of a post, both for content and grammar/spelling.

Sometimes I wonder if Winfield learned English from watching TV commercials for local attorneys.

I personally do not believe sexual acts are protected by the Constitution.

I do, to some extent.  Lawrence v. Texas was the correct decision, for example.

Interesting.

Why?

I'm from West Philadelphia, born and raised. On the playground is where I spent most of my days. Chilling out, relaxing all good and shooting some bball outside of school, when a couple of guys that were up to know good, started makin trouble in my neighborhood. I got in one little fight and my mama got scared; she said you're going to live with your aunt and uncle in Bel Air!

And that's how my ancestry from West Philly moved out west.

Brady was a wonderful cat. He meowed all the time, which got annoying. He "vanished" this winter. I tried to tell myself that he was visiting relatives in heaven, and will return soon, but that is ridiculous. So I've accepted the fact a coyote probably ripped him into a million pieces and then ate him.

Cuba was very much a USSR satelite.  But yes the others were in the Chinese orbit more than anything.  I was thinking of Europe, like Tito.  And Daniel above has answered my question.  I did not know about Albania.  I think its a country people often forget about.

This article was interesting. I clipped it from Conservapedia...

During the Second World War, Albania was occupied first by Italy (1939-43) and then by Germany (1943-44). After the war, Communist Party leader Enver Hoxha, through a combination of ruthlessness and strategic alliances, managed to preserve Albania's territorial integrity during the next 40 years, but exacted a terrible price from the population, which was subjected to purges, shortages, repression of civil and political rights, a total ban on religious observance, and increased isolation. Albania adhered to a strict Stalinist philosophy, eventually withdrawing from the Warsaw Pact in 1968 and alienating its final remaining ally, China, in 1978.
It is interesting that they started out in the Soviet grip but ended up going with China.  That seems really weird that China would have influence in a European country but it is very interesting.  Well, its a good thing they are not ANY kind of communist any more.

It's less funny in context.  I don't get it.  Please explain.
