People on the forum attacked me when I initially suggested that Palin might lack knowledge of some national and international issues (I initially gave the far more reasonable items of the difference between Sunnis and Shi'ites and Biden's plan of dividing Iraq into three countries).

Some of this is surely finger-pointing and sniping, but I feel vindicated (with Palin's initial shutout from the press the Couric interview confirming).

I originally figured this thread was similar to Bush's rhetorical slip when he referred to Africa as a country, but Bush never actually thought that (he was just a poor speaker).  Very similar to Obama's "57 states" comment.

I wish I was a fly on the wall in the room though for that Palin comment.

That doesn't sound right since my understanding was that the whole dealio involved South Africa's status as a province or state.

Did anyone ever make a Bill & Monica pornography?  I mean, you could do Bill & Flowers, Bill & Hillary, Bill & Monica, and possibly one more before you even have to dip into fiction!

Yeah Orange county, definitely the land of fruits and nuts. Roll Eyes Anyways I would love for Palin to run in 2012 so you can see firsthand what kind of electoral crushing she would recieve.
