First, thank you to Senator Cris for opening this thread and thank you to President Truman for appointing me to this important new position.
How regularly does the nominee intend to update the wiki? Does he intend to appoint others to assist him?
I update the Wiki quite often, as I've created
all the pages for the Northern Region and
uploaded the entire Fourth Constitution. Typically, I try to make a point of updating the Wiki at least a couple times a week, but I will take it upon myself to get the Wiki up to date as much as a single person can.
That said, it is a heavy task ahead and I will absolutely need help in getting everything updated. I intend to focus primarily on uploading federal statutes and recording incumbent federal officeholders. People in the Northern and Southern regions (R2D2 and Leinad, respectively) have done a great job updating parts of the Wiki that pertain to the political developments in their domain, but Fremont has no record of either the statutes that have been passed or the people in charge of that region. (Indeed,
Fremont's own wiki page has not been changed since I created it and at the moment only displays a map highlighting the region's member states.)
As National Archivist, I cannot be expected to be involved with the affairs of each individual region - not when there are multitudes of pages that need to be archived, updated, and created on federal matters alone. If I am confirmed by this body, I would like to appoint people from each region who will have the responsibility of keeping those parts of the Wiki to date.
I may also appoint an official Deputy Archivist to help with general tasks.
