Maybe if Roe was overruled, the 10 or 15 or so most liberal states containing a quarter of the population would adopt Roe, the 15 or 20 really conservative states (and maybe a couple of really Catholic or Evangelical-heavy swing states) with a quarter to a third of the population would reinstate their pre-Roe abortion laws (maybe something where there is a separate hearing during a trial where those responsible can prove it was "justified") and then in the dozen some odd centrist, light blue, and "libertarian" red states would create laws that are in most of the rest of the civilized world where abortion is permitted "when a need is established" or basically if it is done immediately like in about the first 8-10 weeks or when something that wasn't foreseen pops up like the mother would need a hysterectomy, be paralyzed, could die if she went to term or if there was a serious fetal defect (like Zika).
