I was actively rooting for the Warriors to lose for the last month of the season; it's nice that that worked out.

thoughts on the Clippers?

They're still Los Angeles.

Better than the Lakers, though.

I'm going to say something very profound...

Blake Griffin > Kobe Bryant.

There, I said it!!

if only.

Lakers/Clippers conference finals with Clippers/Kings winning both their respective championships would be fantastic. The cool teams of SoCal.

I'm not a big fan of Kobe but that could be the most ridiculous thing you have ever posted.

I know it's not fair to Kobe, is it? Tongue

I know they are different players, and both great in their own right.  Blake Griffin is a rapidly rising star coming out of a football dominant school (Oklahoma).  I believe he has the potential to be just as good as Kobe if not better.  The Clippers are no longer the understudies of the Los Angeles area.  They are a dominant force and, I believe, took the season series against the #2 team in the West, the OKC Thunder.  Seriously, If I were Kevin Durant and Co., I would much rather match up against the Lakers than the Clippers.

Kobe Bryant has 5 rings.  Griffin can dunk and not shoot free throws. I'd wait for the Griffin to actually win a playoff series before saying anything.

What I meant was that he's all hype and all but will be forgotten sooner. That's what they have in common.

While Chicago, the top seed, has been ushered into the off season to watch the Cubbies, White Sox, and, pretty soon, Da Bears have fun for a while.

Yeah I was not surprised with that. The Bulls mainly structured their offensive strategies a lot on Derrick Rose, and when he got injured it all fell.

Plus, Philadelphia was no cupcake this year, either.
