A balanced budget amendment would be too restrictive to have in times of crisis and having any loopholes in it for spending increases would make it so riddled with loopholes that it would become pointless. It's best not to chain the hands of government in that regard.

Any revisions or ideas?

I completely support this platform, but I propose that the following sentence be added to the energy plank: "We support increased usage of renewable energy and safe nuclear power."

Certainly could support that, I can't believe I neglected to include such a statement.

Is this party committed to my libertine outlook on social issues?

"Exponentially" might be a bit much for public transportation. Try "dramatically".

We believe in democracy. Though many socialist parties also do, so there is little difference.

Are there any other planks that need proposing? If not we should confirm the platform before too long.

I disagree with the vore for now. We have nothing on drugs and on regional-federalist problem.

I believe in strong regional rights, though not excessive.

The regions haven't ever proven they can do anything. They have more than enough rights as it is.

We need a plank for nationalization of Senate seats. In fact, we don't have anything forum affairs-related. I can't believe I missed that.

From the way the results are turning out, it becomes increasingly likely that Al and Lief will be elected. Xahar however, has yet to receive a single first preference vote. Therefore I call on all SDP members who have yet to to vote, to vote with Xahar as first preference. Only so can we elect three senators, which we need to advance our platform.
