Alright, if Republicans gain less than 75 seats, I'll prominently display my failure in my signature.

As of right now, I am, but I'd be glad to hand it over to someone more competent.

I think our first priority should be setting the period that this is set in.

I agree.
How about around the Second Punic War?... We won't have to appoint an Emperor that way, but we'll need to decide on two Consuls.
Another period might be around the time of Augustus?

I agree with the Second punic war period, however I don't think that there will be able to be as many Senators, but others could serve in military capacities.

I'm unfamiliar with the Roman map at this point, however, I know there are certainly fewer Roman satellites than what was listed, certainly Africa would be off the list.

Actually at the time of the second Punic War Rome essentially had nothing but Italy and Sicily essentially with a few allied satellites like Massilia and Saguntum.

The Roman sphere of influence was quite large however, but everything was shared with Carthage... So, I mean, we could start the game as is, and not worry so much about specific allocation of representation...

Well, if you do, then I suggest some people take up two representations or we redraw the map... Because I don't know that we'll have enough players...

Thats why I'm supporting the Second Punic War period, however it would also require someone in a GM-like role and at least two people who would serve as consuls and military leaders.

I'm also taking Narbonensis and Pontus on top of Italia Superior. If a couple others would like to pick up one more, we still have Lusitania and Asia.

It wasn't taken at the restart. But you can have it. Only Lusitania is left. Then we can get started.

I took three to speed things up. If you want Lusitania, it's available.

Let's take the map and start over and fill everybody in. I'm taking Italia Superior, because I'm officially calling restart. So there...
Everyone else... Just fill your desired place in.
Belgica - Big Bad Fab
Gallia - Hashemite
Narbonensis - Dr. Cynic
Hispania - Sewer Socialist
Lusitania -
Italia Inferior - Vepres
Italia Superior - Dr. Cynic
Dalmatia - Sewer Socialist
Achaea - Barnes
Asia - Xahar
Pontus - Dr. Cynic
Syria - NiK
Cyrenacia - Afleitch
Africa - Happy Warrior
Dr. Cynic, is it ok if I manage Pontus, considering its proximity to my designated region?

I would like to have two Consuls elected by the Senate, with both being members of the Senate. They would share executive power. I'm not entirely sure which would get what powers, though.
