About this Poll

The Ohio News Organization — a cooperative formed this year by the state’s eight largest daily newspapers including The
Plain Dealer — commissioned a poll of the presidential race. The Institute for Policy Research at the University of Cincinnati, which also runs the respected Ohio Poll, surveyed 886 likely Ohio voters Oct. 18-22. The poll’s error margin is plus or minus 3.3
percentage points. Pollster changed the order of the candidates’ names during interviews.
